Following on from our record breaking results from last year we are once again celebrating the significant achievements of our students and are beyond proud of all we have achieved together as a school community. We continue to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students and our wonderful staff which in turn has led to superb results in English, Maths and Science, notably an increase in the 7+ grades achieved.
The unwavering commitment of our staff has enabled students to make exceptional progress this year, with significant increases in grades in the majority of subjects, especially English, Maths, Science, RE, History, Computer Science, Creative iMedia, French, Hospitality and Catering and Art GCSE. We have also seen significant improvements in our Grades 7-9s in Maths, Separate Science, History, Drama and RE.
‘This is testament to the belief we have in ‘The Grace Way’ and the dedication we have to ensuring all young people can flourish and succeed. Students have demonstrated their ‘limitless potential’ and through hard work, ‘intentional excellence’ and their dedication to achieve their own aspirations they have secured superb results.’ Mrs Wheller - Associate Principal
We have also seen outstanding progress from this cohort of exceptional young people in both GCSE and Vocational Subjects, with Health & Social Care, Create iMedia, Hospitality & Catering and Art excelling in outcomes.
We would like to publicly thank our staff for their real belief that education really does change the lives of young people. We would like to thank our parents and community for their faith in the school and how positively they work with us to ensure the success of all our students. Once again our Year 11 students have embodied “The Grace Way” and it is lovely to see that their hard work and dedication over the last 5 years has paid off. We are proud to have nurtured and grown our students and know they will excel and achieve incredible outcomes in the future. This is such an exciting time for our students with new pathways ahead and they deserve our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavours. Mrs Wheller - Associate Principal
‘Again, we have seen superb results demonstrating how Grace has moved from strength to strength over the last few years. This is testament, as always to our ambitious, creative, driven and thoughtful young people who truly believe in their limitless potential that is fostered, developed and driven by our compassionate and talented staff. The Grace Way has time and time again proven that when we believe that young people can achieve with intentional excellence they get to shine on results days and beyond – in their own independent ways. Mrs Whiles - Executive Principal

Dear Parent/Carer,
As we come to the end of a very long term, we want to highlight the support Year 11 have had in regards to their mock exams, and the upcoming GCSEs.
Today, Year 11 have been off-timetable to take part in the annual Careers Fayre, which is a fantastic networking opportunity with over 50 companies attending. Students were able to discuss apprenticeships, business opportunities and paid work experience, and get an insight into different career pathways. We are incredibly proud of them all and the level of maturity they showcased to our visitors today.
Students have received their mock results today, as well as their Sixth Form Offer Letter. Some students have been overjoyed with the results they have received, and some students have been disheartened by these. We would really appreciate it if you could remain supportive in the discussions surrounding these results and offer help and guidance on their next steps.
Students also have been issued with a revision tracker which includes a list of dates for their GCSEs and a plan to follow which will aid their revision over the next two weeks and a further plan for once the exams have started. As parents and carers, please do familiarise yourselves with this plan and support your child where possible.
Students have been issued with revision packs and past papers for all subjects and below are a list of revision websites for your child to access over the course of the next few months:

https://studywise.co.uk/gcse-revision/

We hope the students have a restful, but useful, Easter break and we look forward to welcoming them back on Monday 28th April.

Dear Parent/Carer,
Introductory Letter to 'My Child At School' (MCAS)
As you are aware, we are now using a cloud-based school management system called Bromcom. As the system is cloud-based we can offer you the ability to interact with the information we hold about your child with an app called 'My Child At School', also referred to as MCAS.
MCAS is available for both IOS and Android mobile devices or desktop web view. This will allow us to contact you with important school messages and/or announcements, share school documents and publish your child's reports. You will also be able to see the personal information we hold about you and your child; you may update this information at any time, which helps to keep our records up-to-date. Parents' evenings, dinner money and all school payments will also run through MCAS eventually.
We will be launching the app shortly and all of the above will be introduced in stages; you will be able to see the attendance, behaviour (including detentions) and timetable modules to start with. We will be rolling this out by year groups throughout the next week and you should receive login information by Monday 24th March 2025. If you have not received anything by this date, please contact the school office who will be able to assist you.
Please note, in the meantime we will still be using Parentpay for making payments. You will be notified once we have launched this function on MCAS, which is likely to be in September.
Once you have downloaded the MCAS app, it is important that notifications are enabled on your device (via settings). This will ensure that you receive all important messages and communications from the Academy and that you are kept up-to-date with your child's educational journey.
Below is a link which will take you to the MCAS Parent Guide, which provides further information in terms of the functionality of MCAS and we would encourage you to read this:

Should you need any support with MCAS, please contact the school office at: coventry@graceacademy.org.uk .
Thank you for your support.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs E Wheller
Associate Principal
