Fantastic GCSE Results at Grace Academy Coventry!
August 2026
Across the board, students are celebrating an exceptionally strong set of examination results this year, defined by increased overall pass rates and a record-breaking number of top Grade 9s. Building on outstanding achievements in 2024 and sustained growth in 2025, the results for 2026 mark the third consecutive year of academic advancement.
Performance across key benchmark qualifications continues to rise. Most notably, the proportion of students securing a Grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics has increased yet again. Higher-level attainment has also reached new heights, with a marked rise in students achieving Grade 5+ (strong pass) and Grade 7+ (top tier) in both core subjects.
In core academic subjects, the number of top Grade 7s has surged across English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, and Spanish. Grade 9s — representing the highest level of academic distinction — have reached unprecedented new heights across these key disciplines.
Beyond the core curriculum, subject departments across the qualification spectrum have demonstrated widespread achievement. A significantly increased number of students achieved Grades 4, 5, and 7 across Sport, Business, Geography, Computer Science, and Spanish, demonstrating academic breadth and consistency across diverse pathways.
Crucially, overall student attainment has maintained the exceptional levels established in previous years, with disadvantaged students continuing to perform significantly above national averages.
“We are once again celebrating the significant achievements of our students and are beyond proud of all we have achieved together as a school community. This further demonstrates how Grace has continued to go from strength to strength over the last few years. The unwavering commitment of our staff has enabled students to make exceptional progress this year, with significant increases in grades in the majority of subjects.
These results are a testament to the belief we have in ‘The Grace Way’ and the dedication we have to ensuring all young people can flourish and succeed. Students have demonstrated their ‘Limitless Potential’ and through hard work, ‘Intentional Excellence’ and their dedication to achieve their own aspirations, they have secured superb results.
We would like to publicly thank our staff for their real belief that education really does change the lives of young people. We would like to thank our parents and community for their faith in the school and how positively they work with us to ensure the success of all our students.
Once again our Year 11 students have embodied “The Grace Way” and it is lovely to see that their hard work and dedication over the last 5 years has paid off. We are proud to have nurtured and grown our students and know they will excel and achieve incredible outcomes in the future. This is such an exciting time for our students with new pathways ahead and they deserve our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavours”.
