  • Record Breaking A Level and BTEC Results!

    Published 13/08/26

    13th August 2026

It has been a fantastic morning with a buzz of excitement in the air seeing the students come in to collect their results, with staff here to share the moment with them and celebrate their Limitless Potential. Post-16 courses are extremely demanding, and the students deserve huge credit for their achievements and hard work in demonstrating their Intentional Excellence over the past two years. Here at Grace we are exceptionally proud of the hard work and dedication of our students and our wonderful staff, which has resulted in our best ever A-level and BTEC resul

Our Sixth Form results have continued their year-on-year growth, driving strong momentum into 2026/27. The overall average grade has climbed to a Grade B, bolstered by higher A*-B attainment and an impressive jump of over 10% in A*-C grades. Every student succeeded in securing a passing grade (100% A*-E), while applied subjects reached the top tier with an average grade of Distinction*. Having now beaten our 2025 results (which were already an improvement on 2024), the 2026 cohort has raised the bar again, strengthening an established reputation that saw Grace ranked #1 in Coventry for Applied subjects and #3 for A-Levels.

Our partnership with Coventry Building Society has exponentially improved the students’ ability to revise, enhanced their study skills and preparation for employment, which can be seen reflected in their results, and we are extremely grateful to CBS for their continued support for our students.

It has been wonderful to be able to speak with our students in person to discuss their finalised next steps. The vast majority of our students are intending to go on to university. Other students have some fantastic opportunities, having chosen to follow the route of employment and apprenticeships. We know all our students will be very successful in their chosen career paths and will be able to demonstrate the Grace Way in their future endeavours.

A number of our students received a phenomenal set of results. Francisco achieved a very impressive set of results, including an A in Mathematics, A in Psychology and an A in Chemistry and has secured a place at the University of Sheffield to read Aerospace Engineering. Francisco said “I am happy about my results and cannot wait to see what the future holds for me. I have enjoyed my time at Grace Academy and have grown more, especially with my confidence, because of the school. I am grateful for all my teachers who have helped and supported me. I have not got these results myself. My teachers have helped me with this.”.

Matthew has a fantastic set of results, achieving an A* in Sociology, an A in Psychology, Distinction * in Law  and will be attending Keele University to read Neuroscience with Artificial Intelligence. Matthew said “my time at Grace has been very enjoyable and I have grown immensely. I have met lots of great people from great companies such as CBS, Meggitt and other local companies. Everything I have done at Grace has prepared me for the future. The teachers here have been extremely helpful and have guided me to achieve the results I received today.”

We once again celebrate a number of fantastic BTEC grades with a large number of students achieving the top grades including Tikeria (D*D*D), Mamadou (D*D and a B in Psychology), Alicia M (D* and B’s in English Literature and History), Mattia (DDD), Nabiha (DDD), Shenyar (D*DD), Edita (DDD), Khyle (DDD). We are immensely proud of Sienna, who has done phenomenally well and is going to study medicine at the University of Leicester.

Emily Wheller, Principal at Grace Academy, said “I am immensely proud of our 2026 cohort and the very impressive set of results they have achieved today. Once again, our students and staff have embodied “The Grace Way” working tirelessly to maximise their Limitless Potential. We are so proud that we have once again improved on last year's incredible results. It has been a joy to nurture and grow our students and know they will excel and achieve incredible outcomes in the future. This is such an exciting time for our students with new pathways ahead and they deserve our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavours.”
