School Closed to Students today but open for Year 11 and Year 13 exams

Friday 9th January 2026

We have made the difficult decision to have to close the school to students this morning.  Whilst some of the roads into school appear safe enough to travel, we have a significant proportion of staff and students outside of the immediate local area who cannot travel safely to school this morning.  School work will be set via Google classroom.  

The scheduled exams will go ahead as planned; those students sitting those exams will need to attend school for their planned exams as these cannot be rescheduled.  Parents will be contacted separately with the details of the times these students need to attend site.
