Post-16 Results Press Release

Please see below our Press Release

It has been a lovely morning with a buzz of excitement in the air having the students come in to collect their results, with staff here to share the moment with them. A-levels are extremely demanding and the students deserve huge credit for their achievements and the hard work they have put in over the past two years. It has been wonderful to be able to speak with all our students in person to discuss their finalised next steps. Many of our students are intending to go on to university, whilst others have been offered some fantastic opportunities following the route of employment or advanced apprenticeships.

Zewe has had a fantastic summer break following on from finishing his exams in June, where he has spent a week completing an all-expenses paid internship in London with Fiera Real Estate within the commercial and domestic real estate industry, having the opportunity of working in a variety of different departments to get a feel for potential future career options. His hard work over the past two years has clearly paid off, and today he has achieved a Distinction* in Sport, a Distinction in Business and a B in Psychology which has gained him a place at Coventry University to study Business and Finance. Zewe said “I’m so happy with my results. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my teachers and the staff. I’m excited for my next steps and I’ll be sure to continue promoting the Grace values.”

Ibi achieved three B’s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and has a place at Coventry University studying Accounting and Finance. Ibi said “When I opened my results I was relieved and over the moon. I am so happy to have secured my place at Coventry University to study Accounting and Finance and can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life”.

Tyler’s results included a Distinction* in Sport and he has secured an apprenticeship with Meggitt Plc, a global engineering company. Tyler said “I’m really excited to have been given the opportunity to start my career with Meggitt and have enjoyed my time studying at Grace Academy, which inspired me to follow my dreams of working within the engineering sector”.

This is such an exciting time for our students with new pathways ahead to follow, and they all deserve our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavours.
