If you are interested in applying to Grace Academy, we would be delighted to welcome you for a tour of the school and a meeting with a member of our Senior Leadership Team.

We encourage parents and carers to visit during the school day so you can experience what life at Grace Academy is like for our students.

How to apply

Grace Academy follows the Coventry Local Authority admissions arrangements. Further information can be found on the Coventry City Council website. 

To apply for a place, please visit the Coventry City Council website and complete their online form.

For parents applying for school places for their child to start with us in Year 7 you will need to ensure you apply by 31st October. Any applications after this date will be considered as late and will not be processed until after the national offer date.

For safeguarding reasons, all visits must be booked in advance, and visitors must be accompanied by a member of staff at all times. Safeguarding our students is of the utmost importance and will always take priority.

In-Year Transfers

If you are considering transferring your child to another school during the academic year, you should first contact your child’s Head of Year to discuss your reasons.

If you decide to proceed, you will need to complete a transfer form, which can be obtained from the school office. Once completed, this should be returned to the Reception office.

The school will then process your request with Coventry Local Authority, who will manage the transfer and contact you directly.

 

Appeals

Appeals are currently coordinated by the Coventry Local Authority. This applies to both in-year appeals and Year 7 allocation appeals.
